Nathalie Martel

Nathalie from Victorian in Canada will be climbing the 7 day TK Rongai Route from 11th – 17th February 2013, for Nanapai. The proceeds from Nathalie’s campaign will be divided between Ikirwa School, Korogwe Orphanage, and the work of  Nanapai amongst the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes in Tanzania.

“I am very fortunate and excited that my dream of visiting Africa will come true this coming February 2013. During my African journey, I will be climbing its highest Peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Although the 7 day climb to the summit might be physically and morally challenging and rewarding I believe it can’t compare to the hardship many Africans go through every day of their lives. From my readings on the country I am growing fond of it and for that reason, I hope that I can make a difference for its people.”

This campaign closed, having raised USD 100 for charity.
