Christopher from San Diego in California,USA will be climbing the 7 day TK Rongai Route from 15th – 21th March 2013, for Nanapai. The proceeds from Christopher’s campaign will be divided between Ikirwa School, Korogwe Orphanage, and the work of  Nanapai amongst the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes in Tanzania.

“I am very excited about having had the opportunity to work in Kenya and to be on this adventure here in Africa. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is something I have wanted to do for a very long time. I have also been grateful about all of the kind and wonderful people that I’ve met and worked with here and learning about their cultures. While I have no doubt that the experience of climbing the highest peak in Africa, will leave a lasting impression on me, as has the experiences I already have had, I hope that I can also try and return the favour to my hosts, the wonderful people of Africa -by raising much needed funds for causes I totally support!”

This campaign closed, having raised USD 195 for charity.

Thank you all for supporting me and donating to a very good cause! There are many people in this world in a tough spot at no fault of there own. I’m glad that taking on this mountain raised a little awareness and we were able to help even a little. A little goes a long way in some places and your donation will go a very long way…. so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
